ICE VISION offers an interpretation of the famous fairy tale by E. Hoffmann “The Nutcracker and the Mouse King”.
The play “The Nutcracker and the Lord of Darkness” is a mysterious performance based on a combination of one of the most beautiful sports and acting. Ice dancing adds emotion, speed and energy to the performance. The concept of the performance is revealed through classical music from the ballet “The Nutcracker” by P.I. Tchaikovsky, modern rock rhythms, energetic dance numbers, bright costumes and masks, as well as video decorations, thanks to which every viewer can feel like a part of what is happening.

In addition to the modern arrangement of the immortal classic by P.I. Tchaikovsky's performance features mesmerizing original music written by the famous St. Petersburg composer Alexei Galinsky.
Alexey is the author of music for ice performances: “Princess Anastasia”, “Dracula. A story of eternal love", "Alice in Wonderland", "Alice through the Looking Glass". Alexey is also the author of the work “Olympia”, written specifically for the figure skating exhibition performances at the Olympic Games in Sochi 2014, and the soundtracks for the films: “Shadowboxing 3” and “The Dark World”.
